Things To Do Around Reedsburg

Within a short drive of Reedsburg are numerous additional activities to fill your day.
 

  Dutch Hollow Lake

Dutch Hollow Lake was developed from about 2500 acres of rolling hills and farmland by damming Dutch Hollow Creek about a mile before it joins the Baraboo River northwest of the City of Reedsburg.

  Horseback Riding

There are several stables where one can go horseback riding in the area. The closest one is Canyon Creek Riding Stable, but check them all out.

  Lake Redstone

605 Acre lake just west of Reedsburg with public access.

  Railway Museum

Just a short drive to North Freedom find the Mid-Continent Railway Museum, an outdoor living history museum and operating railroad recreating, preserving, and interpreting the small town/shortline way of life from the "Golden Age of Railroading" spanning the years 1880 to 1916.

  Theatre

American Players Theatre in Spring Green about one-half hour away. The plays run from early June through the first weekend of October.

  Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue

Jeff Kozlowski,and Jenny Meyer established "Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue" in March of 2005.  They are open to the public and run on strictly donations.
