Location: The Reedsburg Industrial Park is located south of State Highway 23/33 or Main Street in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. The principal access to the industrial park is via S. Dewey Avenue. The newest area is on S. Dewey Avenue, across the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad tracks.
Acreage Available: The industrial area consists of 50 acres that is divisible in tracts ranging from 2-30 acres.
Land Prices: Parcels are priced at $15,000 per acre. Depending upon the value of the investment, quality of the jobs created and other criteria, the Industrial Development Commission may provide assistance to offset the purchase price and other development or start-up costs.
Tax Increment District Financing: The newest TIF District for the Industrial Park is TIF District #9. In prior years TIF District #3 that was created in 1998. The use of TIF district financing allowed the City to install curb, gutter, streets, water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and other utilities to the site at no cost to the developer.
Assistance to the business may take the form of Tax Increment "Pay As You Go" - Grants/Notes, Conduit funding and Industrial Revenue Bonds. The City will also sponsor state development grants or compensation for site preparation costs, relocation or training of new employees.
Zoning: The land is zoned I-2 for Heavy Industrial Uses. Performance standards ensure compatibility between uses.
