City Complaint Form

Written complaints will be forwarded to the City Administrator or the Mayor for action. The Administrator will log and investigate complaints promptly, responding to the complainant no later than 60 days after receipt (even if the matter is not completed). Complaints about personnel will be handled according to the union contract disciplinary language if the person is a member of a bargaining unit. In all other cases, any discipline shall be handled consistent with existing personnel policies. Complaints are generally a confidential personnel matter.

Requests for information from the public about a complaint will be handled as an "Open Records Request". The Police & Fire Commission have their own form and policy regarding complaints against sworn officers
