Northwest Recreation Area (Interim Name)

The Northwest Recreation Area was named geographically to represent the area located near Doris Road and Dessa Rain Drive. This area was recently annexed into the City.

Through a grant the University of Wisconsin - Madison Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture was provided this "blank-canvas" for park development. A senior capstone proposal was developed by UW student Asa Pranikoff, in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Bachelor of Sciences in Landscape Architecture.
