Dog Park

South Park - 850 Division Street
A safe place where area dogs can run and socialize. Proof of rabies vaccination is required. Annual stickers can be purchased at City Hall, or daily passes can be purchased at the dog park.

Annual Fees: May be purchased at Reedsburg City Hall, 134 S. Locust St., on weekdays 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Owners must provide proof of current rabies vaccination. Passes are valid from January 1 to December 31 for the year issued. 
City of Reedsburg Residents: $20/year
Non-Residents: $30/year

Daily Fee: Paid at collection box near Release Area of dog park.
City of Reedsburg Residents: $2/day
Non-Residents: $3/day

Park Hours: Daily from Sunrise to Sunset

Park Rules:

  • All dogs must have a current dog park permit.
  • All dogs must be licensed and current on all vaccinations.
  • Dogs must be on a leash when entering and exiting the off-leash area.
  • Handlers must keep the dog's leash with them while in the park.
  • Only one (1) person and their dog are allowed in Release Area at a time.
  • Remove all choke, prong, pinch and spike collars.
  • Handlers are allowed a maximum of two (2) dogs in the park at a time.
  • Handler must be in the park and in control of the dog at all times.
  • Quickly move deeper into the park after releasing your dog.
  • Aggressive dogs must be removed immediately.
  • Female dogs in heat are not permitted.
  • Continuous barking is forbidden.
  • Children under age 16 must be with an adult.
  • Strollers, bikes, skis, roller blades and children's toys are not allowed inside the park.
  • Shoes are required -- No bare feet please.
  • No food, smoking or glass containers allowed.
  • Clean up after your dog -- scoop the poop; fill the holes.

Suggestions & Tips:

  • Dogs under 35 pounds and puppies under 4 months are encouraged to use the small dog area.
  • If your dog is not neutered or spayed, enter at your own risk.
  • Frisbees, balls and retriever toys are allowed and encouraged, but be prepared to share.
  • This is a playground for your dogs ... Have Fun With Them!
